Mr. Mehmet Manisali

Mr Mehmet Manisali is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, dual-qualified in dentistry and medicine. He qualified in dentistry from Bristol University in 1982, before completing a Master’s degree and his medical training at the University of London, qualifying in medicine in 1992. In 2000 he became a specialist in maxillofacial surgery and was appointed as a Consultant at St George’s Hospital, University of London, and Croydon University Hospital, where he has cared for patients with some of the most complex facial conditions.

A past President of the Maxillofacial Surgery section of the Royal Society of Medicine, Mr Manisali is recognised both nationally and internationally for his expertise. His main areas of interest are the management of facial trauma, facial aesthetic surgery including orthognathic (jaw) surgery, surgery of the orbit, and the management of facial skin cancer. He has published widely across these fields and lectures regularly at home and abroad, and is co-founder of the Step by Step Surgical Courses. Alongside his clinical work, he is regularly invited by the Facing the World charity to lead surgical missions in Vietnam, treating children with severe facial conditions.
